Five men stand around a table looking at large architectural plans. They are smiling and engaged in discussion. One man wears a plaid shirt, others wear polo shirts and one wears a WINN DESIGN t-shirt. The setting appears to be indoors with natural light.
Two men in “Your Home. Our Passion.” shirts install a horizontal white panel on a white wall. One holds the panel steady while the other uses a red power tool to fasten it. Their workspace is clean and minimal, with visible wiring and tools.
A man in a black shirt uses a hammer to work on a wooden frame inside a partially constructed house. Exposed beams and insulation are visible, and natural light comes through a window to his left.
Two men in dark shirts work on a white wall. One holds a tape measure vertically while kneeling, and the other stands nearby. A blue level is mounted horizontally on the wall, and a wire sticks out above it. The scene suggests construction or home renovation.

At WINN we strive to make the building process as streamlined as possible

A major renovation is one of the most personal investments you’ll make. Our process is designed to make it a positive experience—one where you feel informed, supported, and confident from the very beginning.

1

Getting To Know You

Every project begins with a conversation and a visit to your home. We take the time to understand how you live, what’s not working, and what you hope to achieve. Before you commit to anything, we invite you to our McLean studio to develop a preliminary budget together—so you have a clear understanding of costs and options before deciding how to proceed.

2

Planning

With a signed Planning Agreement in place, we explore what’s possible. Our team documents your home, evaluates what’s feasible, and develops thoughtful design options aligned with your goals. You’ll review a clear cost projection before advancing, allowing you to make informed decisions without pressure or surprises.

3

Design

This is where the vision comes into focus. Architectural drawings are refined, and our interior designers guide you through materials, finishes, fixtures, and details. Nothing moves forward until the design, scope, and budget are fully aligned—and everything feels right.

4

Construction

Once construction begins, your dedicated Project Manager oversees daily operations, maintaining a clean, secure, and well-organized site. You’ll receive regular updates and meet with the team weekly, while our designers remain involved to ensure the finished work reflects the original intent.

5

Standing Behind Our Work

Every WINN project is backed by a five-year written warranty. More importantly, we remain available long after the project is complete—because the true measure of our work is how your home performs and feels for years to come.
